Equipment guide

Understanding your power generation options

Every site has different load, fuel, and reliability requirements. Here's a quick overview of the equipment types we source and broker.

Gas turbine generator

Gas turbine generators

High-capacity, continuous-duty power — typically 25 MW to 500+ MW. Used for utility-scale generation, grid peaking, and large industrial or data center loads. OEMs include GE, Siemens, MHI, and Pratt & Whitney.

Reciprocating engine generator

Reciprocating engines (recips)

Natural gas and dual-fuel recip units, typically 1–10 MW. Fast-start and efficient at partial loads, well suited to distributed generation, grid support, and behind-the-meter power.

Diesel generator

Diesel generators

Prime and standby power from 20kW to 5 MW. Common for backup power, construction, and remote sites where natural gas isn't available.
